Relton Marine & Colourbox

COLOURBOX was established in 1996 by the artists Christine Relton and Tom Marine to showcase their own and other artists work. Christine was trained at Leeds and Lancaster and Tom at Byam Shaw and Chelsea School of Art and both have been involved in painting and printmaking for over 30 years.

Painting collaboratively as RELTON MARINE since 1996, Christine & Tom have become widely known for their original style. Based in Yorkshire their gallery COLOURBOX represents living, contemporary artists from across the UK working primarily in wall based works: painting, printmaking and collage. COLOURBOX exhibit regularly at art fairs throughout the UK, including all fairs at AAF Battersea, Hampstead and Bristol and, last year, AAF Singapore. RELTON MARINE also collaborate regularly with Byard Art (Cambridge) to participate in art fairs in New York, Brussels and Milan and with the Enid Lawson Gallery (London) at fairs in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
